Why is my Timer setup not running?

If your Timer setup on the AirTouch Beam app isn’t working as expected, there may be a few settings or conditions affecting its execution. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and ensure your automation runs smoothly.

Troubleshooting Checklist

1. Verify Timer Settings

  • Confirm that you selected the correct device during setup.

  • If you made any changes to the device settings after creating the timer (e.g., renaming the device or changing modes), the timer may no longer execute correctly.

2. Timer Delay Window

  • The timer action is designed to be triggered within 60 seconds of the scheduled time.
    (This is normal behaviour and not a malfunction.)

3. Check Location and Time Zone

  • The timer follows the time zone of the selected location in your app.

Solution:

Make sure the correct location is selected, especially if you have multiple locations configured in the app.


4. Internet Connectivity

  • A stable internet connection is required for timers to execute properly.

Ensure that:

  • Your AirTouch Beam device is connected to a working Wi-Fi network.

  • Your mobile phone also has stable connectivity (Wi-Fi or cellular) during setup.
